Peril Adventure Wear Crooked Ruck

On October 19, 2019, a group of people dedicated to bringing an end to veteran suicide will ruck 12 miles along the W&OD Trail from Crooked Run Brewing in Leesburg to Crooked Run Brewing in Sterling.  This event is about breaking the stigma of veteran suicide by bringing people together to talk in an atmosphere that promotes camaraderie.  We are all our brothers’ keepers!

The Crooked Ruck is hosted by Peril Adventure Wear and Crooked Run Brewing with all profits being presented to Mission 22, a non-profit organization that is leading the fight to end veteran suicide.  Visit Mission 22 at www.mission22.org to learn more about their programs in support of our veterans.

Registration includes an event t-shirt, a beer on the house, and transportation back to Crooked Run Brewing in Leesburg as well as “mission support,” a vehicle with first aid and water/snack provisions, during the Ruck.

While there is no weight requirement, we recommend, at a minimum, that you bring a durable bag, or “ruck,” in which to carry at least 64 ounces of water, a few snacks, and an extra pair of socks.  A good pair of shoes or hiking boots is a must.  At the conclusion of the Ruck join us for live music, beer, and delicious eats.  Hope to see you there!

Please be sure to include your shirt size when registering.
